SkillGap is the lesson type used for testing of users knowledge before you start the educational project, as it shows the weak points of users or generally neglected areas that need to focus on. Or Skillgap may be used at the beginning and the end of educational project and see the user progress and potential additional areas for improvement. SkillGap usually compares different user feelings and views as you may expect your people knows the topic the best and you would rate it 10, you would also set 10 as your initial expectation but users would say, its rather 3 which is worse than you expected. This gives you the feedback and chance to focus on the area.
SkillGap editor lesson has 4 tabs:

1. Edit - defines general settings (Always complete 1st tab and Save to make other tabs available)
2. Question editor - Create questions - select type of lesson you add to the test
3. Questions in Areas - shows questions you have assigned to the lesson and placed into respective areas
4. Question bin - shows all questions created either by you or marked as visible to all by other users
